Ben is the Program Director for Shoreline Treatment where he works hands-on to ensure the program delivers a product he wholly believes in. He finds fulfillment in helping those who have lost hope in the midst of their addiction to find their path to recovery and believes that joy can be found in developing a productive and prosperous life, one day at a time. Ben incorporates the principles of his own recovery into developing a professional environment that is caring, compassionate, and teamwork focused on supporting hope and establishing a foundation for long-term sobriety. Prior to his work in recovery, Ben spent 16 years in the environmental chemistry field as a chemist and in managing multiple laboratories. Ben’s values of integrity, honesty, and commitment to the individual are evident in the team you will find at Shoreline Treatment.

Hannah is the Licensed Vocational Nurse at Shoreline Treatment. With over 6 years of experience, specifically in the recovery and psychiatric nursing fields, Hannah has a passion for helping those who want to better their lives. Working closely with the attending physician and the Clinical Director, she ensures that clients are physically and mentally sound during their time at Shoreline. Hannah is also a combat veteran, serving in the United States Army for 7 years with one Deployment to Afghanistan. Recently she decided to further her education and will be attending Saddleback Community College to pursue her Associates in Registered Nursing, followed by her Bachelors in Science of Nursing.

Karen Vesely is the Clinical Director and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Intern (MFTI) with over 11 years of counseling experience. Karen graduated from Vanguard University with a Master’s Degree (Master of Science) in Clinical Psychology. She graduated with her BA in Psychology/Human Development, Magna Cum Laude from Vanguard University and is also a graduate of the Drug and Alcohol Studies program at Saddleback College. She specializes in working with clients who have experienced trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and depression and with those currently battling substance abuse. As a therapist, she provides a safe and trusting therapeutic environment for healing. Karen helps clients gain personal insight by increasing self-awareness and works with clients to emphasize existing strengths in an effort to guide them to successful recovery. Karen holds great compassion and respect for her clients' abilities to work through difficulties in order to find the strength to make positive changes in their lives.
